What ClearKit Does NOT Collect

To be absolutely clear, ClearKit does not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, address)
• Device identifiers or hardware information
• Usage statistics or analytics
• Crash reports or diagnostics
• Location data
• Browsing history or cookies
• Any files from your system

How ClearKit Works

ClearKit reads system information solely to display it to you within the app. This includes:

• System Info: CPU, RAM, storage, and battery status are read from system APIs and displayed locally
• Cleanup: When you initiate a cleanup, ClearKit identifies and removes cache, temporary files, and logs. All operations are performed locally.
• Privacy Audit: App permissions and privacy settings are read from system APIs to show you what apps have access to what resources.

None of this information ever leaves your device.

Permissions Requested

macOS

• Full Disk Access (optional): Required only for deep cleaning features. Without it, ClearKit can still function with limited cleaning capabilities.

iOS

• No special permissions required: ClearKit operates within its sandbox and does not require access to photos, contacts, location, or any other sensitive data.

Third-Party Services

ClearKit does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms. The app is completely self-contained.

Data Security

Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no data to secure on our end. Your information remains protected by your device's built-in security features.

• You use ClearKit at your own risk
• We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from cleanup operations
• Always maintain backups of important data before performing system cleanup

Children's Privacy

ClearKit does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.
